the context of idolatry, in other words - with a prostitute, or it could mean
"by force," as the context of Leviticus 20 suggests this possibility.
The Bible does not suggest the existence of rape, only the violation of
property.
Leviticus 20:13 "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman,
both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death;
their blood shall be upon them."
Previous to this verse is Leviticus 20:9 "For every one that curseth his
father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or
his mother; his blood shall be upon him."
As a society we have decided not to enforce either of these laws, and many
others in this chapter, including death for adultery.
